Alibio’s Tempeh is an easily digestible, plant-based, source of vitamin B12. It is obtained from 100% organic and Italian yellow soy. The beans are peeled, cooked and fermented for about 24 hours in a controlled environment. Fermentation gives the product its compactness, white color and characteristic flavor.
Thanks to its mild taste this product can be used in many recipes: it can be chopped or diced in sauces and stews, blended with other ingredients as a base for sauces, mousses, savory creams and desserts, marinated with an emulsion of extra-virgin olive oil, lemon and salt or it can just be enjoyed plain as an ingredient in fresh salads.
